“Thang co" is one of the famous specialties of Sapa that any tourist should enjoy when coming here. Compared to other dishes, “thang co” is quite unique, strange and has a great attraction for those who first set foot in the land called Sapa.
This dish originated from China and was introduced to the Northwest region of Vietnam and has become a typical dish of the H'mong people. This traditional dish was cooked with horse meat, then people modified it with buffalo meat, beef, pork and many other creative ingredients.
